Many websites display Flash content. I get a dialog box indicating that a Java plug-in is required. I download and install without any indication that there was an error -- the dialog box continues to pop-up, etc.

Java applets, not Flash. The same thing happens in Windows, it seems to be a bug in Firefox 0.8.

I like the search feature that allows me to download preconfigured search engines. Though I'd like to be able to right click on a word on an existing page and then click on the search engine I want to use to look up that word. It's a minor thing I know, but I think it would be useful.

My subject became irritated with SuSE Linux 9 because it seemed that the Internet was very slow in all browsers -- about 1-3 minutes to load a page, with DSL. The computer has an Athlon XP 2400 processor and 512MB of memory.
