Talk:Surfing the Web

no matter the distro or browser, all browsers should work the same. they all pretty much do the same thing and for the most part they all do it in the same way. many Linux users use FireFox or Opera- well one's Gecko based to MAC users don't have too much trouble getting used to it, and the fact that it's not THAT diferent from internet explorer means that people won't have a big deal. media would be the only thing that's handled differently, and that stuff should be either working in browser, the browser should tell the appropriate program to open and play a stream, or some other logical system should be set up so that browsers do everything that they should on other OSes right out of the box. this is, to me, a less important issue than others that are not listed, such as GUI and customizations.
