Newbies whom I talked about text-mode web browsing (browse faster!) wanted to try it. They always keep on "waiting for the browser to load", as they don't know about <Esc> for showing the menu or <g> to go to a new web page. Other basic commands include:

<q> quit links
<d> download the current link
<PgDn> page down
<PgUp> page up
<enter>, <right arrow> 'click' the current link or form control

To find other keyboard controls, use `links -h` or `man links` and scroll down partway.
