Cancelling printing, or blocked printers
I really encountered this problem not only in Debian, but also in Mandrake. I print something, only to find that the printer is off (hardware side). I turn it on, but then the printer is blocked (software side). In the K Desktop Environment I already know where to find the printer manager, in order to re-enable the printer, but in Gnome, as a newby, I did not, and had to either restart the computer or enter in KDE. I suppose this has to be a fairly common problem.
