Firefox is mozilla.org's next generation browser. It has a look and feel that apeals to most people.

If you wish to use it and you can find it any where on you desktop or in your aplications try opening a console. Next type: mozilla-firefox . If this dosn't work you currently don't have Firefox installed. You will nead to install it using apt-get.

To use apt-get you will need to have root access to the computer so type: su . you will then be asked to enter the root password. Once you do this you should update your apt repository by typing:apt-get update . This will tell your computer about all the new packages that it can download and install. After this is finished type: apt-get install firefox . This will download and install Firefox.

As long as this finished without a hiccup exit from the root account and proceed from the beginining.
